George Foreman Steamer Instructions

The George Foreman Steamer is marketed as a companion to the George Foreman Grill. The idea is that these two appliances are all you need to cook healthy meals. If your idea of a healthy meal consists of rice, steamed veggies and grilled meat, the George Foreman Steamer and grill can be convenient, especially since you can use the steamer as a rice cooker.

Steam vegetables and more.

Step 1

Cook up some rice. The George Foreman Steamer functions as a rice cooker and there are levels marked for rice and water as well as settings for both brown and white rice.

Step 2

Sear meat in the steamer before cooking it on the stove or in the oven. Searing the meat keeps the juices in and keeps the meat from drying out.

Step 3

Steam vegetables in the tiers provided. You should put denser vegetables on the lower tiers and delicate vegetables on the higher ones.
