If you have unwanted hair on your body, you can shave it, wax it, or even undergo laser hair removal. Another solution is to use bleach, which will camouflage the hair and make it less noticeable. One popular cosmetic lightener is Jolen Creme Bleach. A moisturizing treatment that lifts dark body hair to a pale blonde shade, Jolen has been a trusted bleaching agent for several decades. As effective as it is painless, it's also easy to use if you follow a few simple steps.

Wash the area that you wish to bleach with soap and warm water. Pat it dry with a towel.

Mix the accelerator powder with the bleaching creme. For small spots such as your eyebrows or above your upper lip, mix 1/4 teaspoon accelerator powder with 1/2 teaspoon creme bleach. For larger areas like legs and arms, use one part accelerator powder with two parts creme.

Use a spatula to place a small patch of the creme on the inside of your arm. Leave it on for up to 15 minutes to see if you have an adverse reaction to it. Proceed if the test is successful.

Scoop some of the bleaching creme onto a spatula and apply it to the skin in the direction of the hair growth. Cover the entire area you want to bleach. Keep the creme on for 10 minutes if you have a dark complexion and 15 minutes if you are fair. Remove the creme with a spatula.

Reapply the mixture for five to 10 minutes if you notice that not all the hair was bleached. Rinse the area with cold water and pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

Warning

If the product gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
