Arbonne International is a skin care line developed in Switzerland and now manufactured in the United States. The company was founded in 1975 by Petter Morck with a team of bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists. In 1980 it relocated to the United States and is based in Irvine, California. Arbonne has grown into providing cosmetics, diet products, nutritional supplements and a baby care line. All products are available through a network of independent consultants. The skin care line focuses on providing formulas that are full of natural ingredients. Foundation is available in both liquid and mineral powder formulas in 15 colors.
Look at the hair and eye color descriptions. Cool is for blonde or brunettes with blue or grey eyes and skin with definite pink undertones. Neutral is for women of all hair and eye colors who have skin that is fair with light pink undertones, olive tones or yellow tones. Warm is for blonds, redhead and brunettes with brown, green or hazel eyes who have yellow or orange undertones to their skin.
Decide whether you are warm, neutral or cool. Pay careful attention to your skin undertones. Use the skin from a place that does not get a lot of sun, like the inside of your forearm.
Pick a foundation color that is close to the depth of color in your skin. There are six cool colors, four neutral colors and five warm colors to choose from.
Choose mineral foundation if you are between colors. It is a more forgiving formula in terms of showing lines and is easier to mix with another mineral powder to make the perfect match.
Use your cool/neutral/warm designation to help you pick the perfect complimentary cosmetic colors, as their shadows, blush and lipsticks are divided into these categories as well.
