In Sophie Jaffe's Wake Up With episode (which if you haven't watched, is here!), she talks a lot about the importance of journaling. Journaling is an incredible self-care practice that helps you release emotions, anxiety, dreams and creativity — that no one gets to read, but you.
There doesn't have to be any expectations, you can write about literally anything you want. You can write a list of things you're grateful for, something about your dreams, things you want to manifest into your life, something you're scared of and why. Literally: ANYTHING! Here are Sophie's tips to get started:
- Keep your journal and pen by your bed, so that you have no excuses
- Do it right before you go to sleep or right before you wake up in the morning, just dedicate 2-5 minutes
- Don't think too much about it! Just journal.
