Gatorade is the most popular sports drink brand, with over 80 percent of the available market share. There are multiple types of Gatorade that offer different benefits and flavors.

Gatorade G

Gatorade G is the rebranded name for the original type of Gatorade. This type of Gatorade features classic flavors such as lemon lime, grape and fruit punch. This type of Gatorade has sodium and potassium to help the body replenish lost fluids.

Gatorade AM

Gatorade AM is a brand meant for the morning workouts. It is similar to the usual Gatorade formula, but it also has extra Vitamin C. One 8-ounce serving has 20 percent of your daily recommended value of vitamin C.

Gatorade Fierce

Gatorade Fierce packs in multiple B vitamins to "help your body metabolize energy," according to Gatorade.com. One 8-ounce serving has 20 percent of your daily recommended amount of vitamins B3, B5 and B6.

Gatorade X Factor

Gatorade X-Factor combines multiple flavors (such as fruit punch and berry) while also adding in vitamin E (a known antioxidant). There is 20 percent of your daily recommended amount of vitamin E in one 8-ounce serving.

Gatorade G2

Gatorade G2 is the low-calorie version of the regular Gatorade formula. There are only 25 calories in every 8-ounce serving, which is half of the usual amount. Gatorade G2 also has vitamins B, C and E.
