Things You'll Need
Preheat the oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove the plastic wrapping and any other protective packaging — discard or recycle it. Only the pie and aluminum pie pan should remain.
Cover the edges of the pie with aluminum foil so they do not burn during the cooking process.
Insert the pie into the oven on the middle rack.
Bake for 10 minutes, and then cut small slits in the top of the pie to let out excess steam.
Bake the pie for an additional 40 to 50 minutes.
Remove the aluminum foil and discard it. Continue baking the pie for 10 minutes.
Remove the pie from the oven using the oven mitts.
Allow the pie to cool for at least five minutes, or cool completely, before serving.
