Comb hair all the way through. This will help you spray the Chi 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray evenly against each strand of hair.
Hold the spray bottle 6 to 10 inches from the hair.
Spray Chi 44 on the middle and ends of the hair strands. Do not saturate the hair with the spray, or spray the roots of the hair if you aren't applying heat to the roots.
Allow the spray to dry on the hair before applying any heat.
