Oatmeal is a healthy, whole-grain cereal that is both delicious and extremely nutritious. Oats are high in soluble fiber, which has been proven to reduce cholesterol, fight cancer and protect against heart disease. Unfortunately, many people avoid cooking oats in the morning because the process can be too time-consuming. Quaker Oats, however, can easily be prepared using a microwave, which reduces the preparation time dramatically.
