White, breakfast gravy over home style biscuits and sausage is a classic Southern dish that never disappoints. This option can be made in under 10 minutes. It is full of fat, so it should not be part of any diet plan.

Step 1

Cook the sausage or bacon and keep 1/4 cup of the drippings.

Step 2

Mix 1/4 cup of flour with the drippings. Cook them on medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Add 2 cups of milk slowly while stirring. Bring the gravy to a full boil, then lower the temperature. Use your discretion on how thick the gravy should be. If it becomes too thick, add a little more milk.
