Creamy, rich, decadent and delicious; no-bake Oreo ball cookies are similar to fancy restaurant-quality truffles, but are made easily and quickly. Using only a few ingredients, this basic method can be adapted a variety of ways by changing toppings and coatings to suit any mood, appetite or occasion.
Prepare Cookie Mix
Place 1/4 of the Oreo cookies in the freezer bag, whole. Seal the bag tightly.
Use the rolling pin to thoroughly crush the whole Oreo cookies into crumbs.
Once crushed, pour the Oreo cookie crumbs into a stainless steel mixing bowl. Repeat with the remaining cookies until all have been crushed.
Combine Your Ingredients
Mix your Oreo cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese until the mixture is fully blended.
Refrigerate your Oreo and cream cheese mixture for 30 minutes, making it easier to portion into balls.
Scoop 1-inch portions of the chilled cookie and cream cheese mixture and shape into round balls.
Coating the Oreo Ball Cookies
Melt the baker's chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on High, stirring every 30 seconds until the chocolate is fully melted.
Use two forks to gently dip each Oreo cookie ball in the melted chocolate. Pull the forks up to allow extra chocolate to drip off each cookie ball back into the bowl.
Set coated Oreo balls on a sheet pan covered with wax paper, then place whole tray in the refrigerator to set. Chill a minimum of 1 hour.
Store the firm Oreo ball cookies in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
