If you spend any time at all in rural areas or tailgate parties, and you also like to kick up your heels a bit, then you have probably heard of this drink. Served right out of a mason jar, it is actually a mixed drink that bears a strong familiarity to liquid apple pie but packs a wallop while often having an unnoticeable alcohol presence. Aside from the apple taste, the active ingredient that packs the punch is moonshine or grain alcohol depending on your taste. Follow the directions below and you’ll be sure to be the life of the party.

Things You'll Need

Start with a stockpot large enough to accommodate approximately two gallons of Apple Pie Moonshine.

Add 1/2 gallon of apple juice and one gallon of apple cider to your stockpot over medium heat.

As the mixture begins to warm, add the white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks.

Bring the stockpot to a boil, stirring the mixture to ensure that the sugar is fully dissolved.

Cool the Apple Pie drink to room temperature.

Add 750 ml or moonshine or grain alcohol such as Everclear.

Pour the Apple Pie Moonshine into mason jars with lids.
