How to Cook Tilapia fillets

You don't have to be an expert cook to add tilapia to your menu. This recipe is a really easy way to get the omega-3 rich food into your diet. Add a crushed clove of garlic to the recipe for a little added flavor, or keep it plain for picky eaters. Tilapia is a mild fish that everyone can enjoy.

Step 1

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Rinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and drain.

Step 2

Crack the egg and beat it with a fork or whisk. Dredge the fillets in the egg, then coat on both sides with bread crumbs.

Step 3

Squeeze a lemon over the fillets, keeping an eye out for any seeds. Sprinkle coarsely ground black pepper over the fillets.

Step 4

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until fish is white.
