Frozen processed chicken nuggets from the grocery store can be loaded with fat and preservatives. This is why you can find many different kinds of healthy nugget recipes on the Internet. This homemade recipe is a light and low-fat version of breaded chicken nuggets.
Things You'll Need
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse the chicken and cut it into bite-sized nugget pieces.
Mix the crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and paprika together in a shallow bowl. Slightly beat the egg into the milk in a separate bowl.
Dip the chicken one piece at a time into the egg mixture, and then coat each piece with the breading. Place the coated chicken pieces on a baking sheet. Bake the pieces for 10 minutes. Turn over each piece, and bake them all for another 5 minutes.
Remove the nuggets from the oven. Allow them to cool for about 5 minutes before serving them with your choice of dipping sauce.
Stir in a small amount of milk to egg mixture if it gets too low.
