Microdermabrasion is a treatment used on facial skin to remove tiny lines and wrinkles. Skin that has tiny bumps or blackheads may see loads of benefits from regular microdermabrasion treatments. There are at-home versions of this treatment but for a deeper cleanse use a machine. Special microdermabrasion machines buff away the top layers of the epidermis by blasting skin with tiny crystals. In order to prevent infection or the spreading of disease, clean machines after each usage.
Unplug the machine from the electrical socket.
Wipe down the body of the machine with some antibacterial spray and cotton clothes. Do not spray directly onto the machine. Spray your cloth then wipe down the machine.
Unscrew the vacuum hose from the unit. Brush the nozzle out with a soft bristle toothbrush. Brush the nozzle end of the hose. Wipe the hose clean. Replace the hose.
Unscrew the hose that is attached to the applicator wand or wands. Clean the inside tip of the hose, on both ends with the toothbrush. Wipe the hose clean. Replace the hoses.
Replace the applicator wand tips with new, disposable ones or wipe permanent ones clean with alcohol wipes.
Replace the collection container and the crystal container. Never empty and reuse collection containers.
Spray a blast of glass cleaner on a paper towel. Wipe your digital display clean.
