Dooney & Bourke is the brand behind a wide range of fashion accessories, but they're mainly known for their handbags. If you've purchased one of them lately, it's important that you register the product. Doing so will ensure you have an authentic item--not a knockoff--and make you eligible for Dooney & Bourke's one-year craftsmanship guarantee.
Locate your Dooney & Bourke guarantee card. All new D&B products are accompanied with this. On the card, you'll find a satisfaction guarantee, authenticity promise, short survey, and two unique codes--the Product SKU and the Registration Number.
Open your product and locate the fabric tag inside. Authentic products will have a red, white and blue tag, with the words "Dooney & Bourke, Made in the U.S.A." on it. Flip the tag over. On the reverse side is a serial key. This is your Bag ID Number.
Log on to the Dooney & Bourke website. (See References) On the product registration page, enter your contact information. Under "Registration Infomation," enter your Bag ID Number, Product SKU, and Registration Number.

Submit the form. This will check the registration number within Dooney & Bourke's database, and verify its authenticity. Assuming all information that you've entered is correct and being used for the first time, you will receive a confirmation page. Your product is now registered and will be protected for one year against any craftsmanship defects that result from normal use.

If you register a fake, invalid or already-used registration number on the Dooney & Bourke website, you will receive an error notification, not a confirmation page.
