When washing your face, you have several options for how to go about it. One option is a foaming cleanser that automatically foams into your hands. Foaming cleansers come in several forms, from makeup removers to acne cleansers and plain face wash. Because foaming cleansers are made for several skin conditions and uses, read the instructions on your cleanser. Some may specify that you use them twice a day; others may specify every other day.
Wash your hands thoroughly. Put up your hair so it is out of your face.
Wet your face with water. Pump 2 or 3 pumps of foaming cleanser into the palms of your hands.
Rub your hands together to spread the cleanser onto your hands.
Apply the cleanser to your face by rubbing your hands along your entire face. Spread it to your forehead, along your cheekbones and nose, and on your chin.
Rub the cleanser gently into your skin in a circular motion with your fingertips.
Wash off the cleanser by splashing water onto your face. Dab your face dry with a clean towel.
