Dealing with tangled hair can definitely be an aggravating problem. Without the right care, unkempt hair refuses to grow and becomes hard to manage. Achieving your desired hairstyle quickly becomes an impossible mission that you don't have time for. Make the entire process easier to work with by using a few home remedies to detangle this troublesome issue.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

Create an apple cider vinegar rinse treatment to eliminate unwanted frizz and help detangle your hair. Add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one cup of warm water together. Completely pour the rinse over your hair. Make sure it's fully wet so that the treatment will penetrate thoroughly. Allow the mixture to stay on your hair and proceed with your normal conditioning routine.

Divide the hair into small sections and comb through it. Begin detangling in the back of your head because it can be harder to work with at times. Start detangling from the hair tip and gradually move to the root. Try not to tear through your hair and cause unnecessary breakage during this process.

Baking Soda and & Conditioner

Detangle your hair by adding extra moisture to it. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with three or more tablespoons of your favorite conditioner into a plastic container. Completely blend the mixture together before applying it to your tangled hair. Cover your entire head with the mixture by applying it in sections.

Gently massage your scalp to help remove any residue from previously used styling products. Cover your hair with a plastic cap for at least 45 minutes. Rinse with warm water and make sure that there's no baking soda and conditioner left over.

Overnight Deep Conditioning

Apply a large amount of moisturizing conditioner to your hair. Fully rake it through your hair with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers. Take your time when doing this because rushing could cause the hair to tangle even more.

When finished, cover your hair with a plastic cap and sleep with the conditioner overnight. Prevent the conditioner from leaking by wrapping a large towel around your head and securing it with a bobby pin. You can also place a thick towel on your pillow before going to bed and protect it from any unwanted leakage. In the morning, rinse the conditioner out and style your hair as usual.
