Milk is not just for drinking. The vitamins and minerals contained in milk can be just as beneficial to the outside of your body as they are to the inside. Applying milk to your skin adds nourishing moisture. A homemade milk face wash, consisting of products that you may already have in your pantry, can polish your skin and bring out its natural glow.

Process the oatmeal in a food processor or blender.

Pour 1/2-cup ground oatmeal and 1/2-cup of powdered milk into a small bowl. Add just enough warm water to the powdered milk and oatmeal to form a thin paste.

Splash your face with warm water. Massage the milk cleanser into your skin using your fingertips.

Allow the milk cleanser to sit on your skin for two to three minutes. Rinse the milk from your face with a cool water rinse.

Pat your skin dry with a clean, soft towel. Repeat the process at least once a week.
