Making homemade vitamin C serum for your face is as simple as throwing together your morning smoothie. All it takes is a quick trip to the local health foods store or pharmacy and a few minutes of preparation. Fresh and effective, you can reap the same benefits of branded vitamin C serums at a tenth of the cost. Measure and pour the distilled water into the mixing bowl. If you'd like a scented serum, use rose water instead of distilled water.
Measure and pour the vitamin C powder into the mixing bowl. Sensitive skin may call for a little less vitamin C powder. Stir mixture with whisk until dissolved.
Measure and pour the vegetable glycerin into the mixing bowl. Dry skin may need a little more vegetable glycerin. Stir mixture with whisk until blended.
