Instead of liquid shampoo in a bottle, Soap for Goodness Sake specializes in shampoo bars, which, according to the company’s website, can do the job of three products: soap, shampoo and shaving cream. These shampoo bars have also earned a “0” rating from the the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database. Soap For Goodness Sake uses only natural, organic ingredients and makes their products by hand. The shampoo bars come in a wide variety of scents and formulations, including shea butter, patchouli, French lavender and lemongrass mint.

According to the company’s website, Salon Naturals is dedicated to making safe, chemical-free hair care products. Some of the ingredients Salon Naturals uses in its shampoos and conditioners include organic aloe vera juice and plant extracts. The company offers four different shampoo and conditioner collections: hydrating, volumizing, sleek and shiny, and curl defining. The Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database gives Salon Natural products a “0,” their safest rating.
