Short hair is fun and can be youthful and stylish although there can be styling difficulties compared to longer hair. If you’d like to change your style, consider a short, layered flippy hairstyle. Keep in mind that you will need to style your hair every day, likely with products and possibly heat, to keep it looking nice. You will likely need to visit the hairstylist often to maintain your cut.
One variation of the classic bob hairstyle is an asymmetrical bob. In this style, one side of your hair is longer and different than the other. This layered style is usually flippy and swingy. One way to achieve this style is to cut and layer your hair heavily in the back. Layer the top and the bangs. Cut the bangs so that one side of hangs much more heavily than the other side.
Try a short, layered hairstyle with bangs. The ends of the hair should flip outward. To achieve this, have your hair cut with lots of layers. Have the ends of your hair cut with a razor in order for them to flip outwards. Standard bangs or side-swept bangs both look nice. Use a curling iron or a flat iron to get your ends and layers to flip out more.
A pixie hairstyle can be flippy and have a lot of movement as well. The back and sides should be cut short, just a few inches long. Leave the top longer so that it falls to either side. Well-placed layers throughout the top and the bangs make it more versatile. If you have longer bangs, sweep them across your forehead and mist into place.
