A microdermabrasion cloth is a popular alternative to the more expensive microdermabrasion treatments on the market. Use a microdermabrasion cloth to gently exfoliate your face and reveal a fresher, softer layer of skin.
Wash your face with water and a mild soap. Employ gentle motions to clean your skin. Use enough water to wash away the remaining dirt, oils and soapy film from your face.
Pat your face with a clean towel until it is dry. Slightly dampen the microdermabrasion cloth with warm water. Wring out any excess water. Rub the microdermabrasion cloth against itself, apply a cleanser or lather the cloth with a mild soap.
Rub your face gently with the cloth. Employ small, circular motions in concentrated spots, and then continue to other areas. Start with the nose and move outward. Use the cloth’s microfibers to gently exfoliate and slough away dead skin cells, makeup residue, dirt, oil and other unwanted agents from your skin. Keep the microdermabrasion cloth away from the delicate eye area.
Clean the microdermabrasion cloth with an anti-bacterial soap. Hang it up so that it can dry. Do not apply any astringents that contain alcohol to your face after a microdermabrasion cloth session. Use the cloth once a week.
