After a long winter in socks and house slippers, your feet may need some TLC before they’re ready for sandals. Soften your tootsies by restoring moisture and exfoliating dead skin. With this nightly routine, you can put your best feet forward for summer.
Things You'll Need
Take a shower, or soak your feet in warm water for about 15 minutes to soften the skin.
Use the pumice stone to remove dead skin. Pay special attention to your heels and the balls of your feet. Dry your feet.
Apply petroleum jelly to your feet. Put on the socks and wear them overnight.
In the morning, remove the socks.
Be sure to do this at night. It helps the weird feeling at first and also you should not walk around with socks full of Vaseline.
Also turn your socks inside out before you wash them to remove any traces of the Vaseline.
