Zucchini is a vegetable that’s often used in American cooking. You can serve it plain, or mix it into any number or other recipes for some extra flavor. Many people use zucchini in breads and custards. When the vegetable is harvested young, seeds are not a problem. As the zucchini grows, however, more seeds develop. Many people prefer to get rid of the seeds at this point so as not to overload the dish with seeds. Seeding a zucchini takes just a minute.
Things You'll Need
Wash the zucchini under cold running water.
Cut the zucchini lengthwise once, right down the middle.
Hold one half of the cut zucchini with one hand and use the tip of the spoon to scoop out the seeds of the zucchini.
Rinse the inside of the zucchini to remove any remaining seeds, if necessary.
