Jade has been around for thousands of years as a prominent material for jewelry. If you are lucky enough to own jade jewelry, it needs to be worn and taken care of very carefully. Jade bangles should be cleaned regularly, and put on carefully to avoid chipping.
Things You'll Need
Pour the jade cleaner onto a soft cloth. Rub the jade bangle slowly and carefully all the way around to clean it.
Apply jade protectant to the second soft cloth. Rub the jade bangle slowly and carefully all the way around so you can get a layer of protection around it. This won’t stop it from chipping if it hits something hard, but it will help protect it from dirt and oils.
Squeeze your fingers together and poke your hand through the bangle. Once the jade bangle hits your knuckles, if you are having trouble getting it over, begin to flatten out your hand. Use your other hand to push the bangle over your knuckles and wrist in order to get it on. The protectant should help it slide a little better over you hand.
Adjust the jade bangle on your wrist so it fits comfortably and safely with no worries about falling off. Try not to grab things quickly or wear the jade bangle when you are exercising, doing physical work or working on the computer.
Do not wear your jade bangle on a daily basis, to avoid regular wear and tear.
