Wearing eyeliner can emphasize your eyes and make them stand out. However, most makeup companies only make eyeliner in dull colors like black or brown. Makeup companies who do make colorful eyeliner usually charge at least $5 for a small bottle. If you like to change your look a lot, it can be expensive. Luckily, it is cheap and easy to make your own eyeliner using eyeshadow colors you already have. If you have an eye color palette, there is a huge range of colors to choose from and different eyeliner looks to try.
Things You'll Need
Scratch off a small amount of eyeshadow using the blunt end of your tweezers. Put the powder into the mixing cup.
Crush the eyeshadow up and mix with one or two drops of water.
Add a tiny globule of petroleum jelly to the mixture and mix it thoroughly until it is thick and pasty.
Dip your makeup brush into the mixture when it is still wet and apply to your eyes.
Wash your makeup brush in warm soapy water after use to prevent eye infections.
Use more petroleum jelly for a thinner, more shiny look, and use less for a stronger darker look.
