According to WebMD, oily skin can plague both men and women at any age. Skin is covered with sebaceous glands that produce sebum, a mixture of assorted fats and dead sebaceous cells. People suffering from oily skin produce an excess amount of sebum, which is caused by a genetic predisposition to this issue. Homemade skin face masks can dry up the excess sebum, which can cut down on the greasy, shiny appearance that oily skin can produce.

Things You'll Need
