Stress affects the mind and body in many ways. Your skin is an area of your body that can suffer from stress. Stress can aggravate skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, and it can cause you to neglect caring for your skin in general. Visiting a spa for a skin treatment might be helpful but also tends to be quite expensive. You can save money, ease your stress and boost your skin’s health by making your own mask at home.
Things You'll Need
Mash a medium sized banana with a fork until the consistency is smooth and free of lumps.
Add the honey and a few drops of an essential oil, such as peppermint or lavender oil, to the banana. Mix well with a spoon. Scented oils often trigger responses of relaxation in many individuals.
Apply the mask to your face with your fingers. Use small, circular motions to gently rub the mask into your skin. This massaging motion also helps to relieve stress.
Leave the mask on for approximately 10 minutes.
Rinse the mask off using lukewarm water. Pat your face dry with a soft cloth.
