Grab that old T-shirt hanging in your closet and make it into a sideless T-shirt. Wear sideless T-shirts in the spring and summer, with a tube top or tank top underneath. No sewing is needed. Make your personalized shirt in minutes.

Things You'll Need

Lay the t-shirt on a flat surface, such as a table or the floor, right-side up.

Cut off the collar of the T-shirt, following the seam and cutting approximately 1 inch below it. To be more creative, create a specific type of neckline such as a scoop neck or V-neck.

Lay the ruler parallel to one side of the T-shirt, aligning the bottom of the ruler with the bottom of the shirt. Measure 3 inches up and make a mark with the pencil. Repeat this step with the other side of the shirt.

Cut down along the T-shirt’s shoulder seam, curving outwards at the mark you previously created, to remove the sleeve and side of the shirt. Do this to both sides of the T-shirt.

Cut along the bottom of the T-shirt to shorten the shirt to your liking.
