Frankincense essential oil has been considered precious and valuable to human health for centuries. It’s traditionally used for scar tissue removal and it’s even been said that when used regularly over time, the shape of the scar tissue cells can change shape back to normal. When using frankincense essential oil for scar tissue removal, though, it should be diluted (as all essential oils should be), and you may speed scar tissue removal by adding the benefit of exfoliation and blood circulation to the scarred skin.

Things You'll Need

Put 1/4 cup of sugar into the container and add five drops of frankincense essential oil. Put on the lid and shake vigorously.

Allow the mixture to sit overnight so the frankincense essential oil penetrates all the sugar crystals.

Use your frankincense essential oil scar tissue removal scrub. Each time you shower, allow your skin to get slightly moist, then apply and scrub the area with your scar tissue removal scrub. Allow it to remain on the skin for a few minutes, then rinse. The frankincense essential oil should penetrate the skin even more because of the water in the shower, as long as it’s not rinsed off too soon. The sugar exfoliates and brings blood circulation to the area while being a carrier to dilute the frankincense essential oil.

  • Make sure you use pure frankincense essential oil, not just a carrier oil scented with a little frankincense.
