How to Make a Kir and Kir Royal
Pour one to two tablespoons of Creme de Cassis into an empty wine glass.
Gently pour six ounces of white wine–traditional Kir’s use Burgundy–on top of the Creme de Cassis.
Drink and enjoy! You’ve just made a Kir!
Take an empty champagne glass and add one part Creme de Cassis.
Gently pour five parts champagne on top of the creme de Cassis.
Drink and enjoy! You’ve just made a Kir Royal!
Always pour the Creme de Cassis in prior to the alcohol. It makes for better taste.
