Some people are born with a chiseled face, of which defined cheekbones and a sculpted jawline are typical characteristics. Many people naturally associate this with being attractive, hence its broad desirability. You probably are fine the way you are, but there are ways to work toward the chiseled look. Toning facial muscles and smartly applying makeup are two methods.

Things You'll Need

Facial Exercises

Pout your lips, stretching them forward as far as you can. Change this into the widest smile that you can make. Hold the smile for one second and then bring your lips back to a pout again and resume the cycle. Perform 10 repetitions, once a day. This exercises your cheeks to bring a more defined look.

Suck your finger as hard as you can. Slowly pull your finger out of your mouth. Perform 10 repetitions, once a day. This exercise defines your lips.

Protrude your lower lip as far as you can. Point your chin up toward the sky. You can feel the muscles under your chin stretch. While doing this, move the corners of your mouth downward as if you are making a sad face. Hold this position for one second and then relax. Repeat 10 times, once a day. This exercise works your neck and chin.

Push your lower lip outward and upward. Stretch this as far as you can. Perform 10 repetitions, once a day. This exercises the chin.

Press the tip of each index finger onto your face just above each eyebrow. Pull your eyebrows down with your fingers while pushing upwards with your eyebrow muscles. Hold for five seconds. Perform 10 repetitions, once a day. This exercises and defines your forehead.

Apply foundation to your face as normal. Blend a darker foundation into the hollows of your cheeks using an upward sweeping motion. Use a complexion highlighter along your cheekbones, then blend it in. The lightness of the highlighter contrasting with the darker tones beneath will accentuate your cheekbones and contribute to a chiseled look.

Use highlighter along your jawline and blend it with your fingertips. Your jawline will appear more prominent. Apply a little bronzer to your temples (either side of your eyes) to make your forehead stand out more.

Apply a touch of white shimmer stick to your eyebrow bones, just beneath the brows themselves. Use a small brush to apply your usual eye shadow just below this. This creates the illusion of prominent eyebrow bones, contrasting with the darker, more recessed eye sockets.
