The bob, one of the most versatile hairstyles, can be worn straight, wavy, messy and spiky. Since the bob frames the face, these hairstyles can both narrow wider faces and soften angular ones. Unless you want a super-straight, sleek look, adding some lift to your layered bob will give you more styling options.
Things You'll Need
Shampoo hair with a volumizing shampoo and condition the ends only. Using a wide-tooth comb, detangle hair. Let hair air dry until it’s only slightly damp.
Spritz hair with a styling spray. Set the blow dryer on medium, and with a large, vent brush build volume by pulling hair up and back. When hair’s dry, make a deep side part.
Use small Velcro rollers and wrap 1-inch sections of hair, stopping halfway to the scalp. Spray ends with fine-mist hairspray. Leave the rollers in for 20 minutes and then gently remove them. Style hair using your fingers.
Use a round brush, in addition to the vent brush, to shape hair and build volume.
