If you’re a plus-size woman, it can be hard to find clothes that allow you to look and feel sexy. Something that looks great on a thinner woman may highlight all of your bad points. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t sexy plus size clothes. You simply need to know how to work with what you’ve got. Look for clothes that fit your personality and allow you to show some skin. Don’t hide behind a baggy exterior.

Buy the right size. If your clothes don’t fit right, they won’t look sexy and you’ll feel uncomfortable. For example, if your skirt is too short, you might spend the whole night trying to pull it down. Don’t get hung up on the size on the tag. If an item fits and looks good on you, buy it.

Show a little bit of skin. If you show too much skin, you can end up looking trashy, so try to focus on just one feature. For example, if you’re wearing a low-cut top, stick with a longer shirt or pants. Pair a short skirt with a top that has a high neckline and longer sleeves.

Suck it all in. Sometimes, it’s not so much your size that bothers you, but all the bumps and rolls that come with it. Shapewear, like a girdle or control-top pantyhose, can even these out. Additionally, consider corsets, which can make you feel and look sexy.

Wear chunky high heels. High-heeled shoes make anyone look sexy, but stilettos can make you wobble. Buy shoes with a thicker heel instead.

Highlight your best feature. Think about the part of your body that makes you feel the sexiest. Perhaps you love the way your decolletage looks when you wear a sexy push-up bra. Maybe you love the curve of your legs. Whatever feature you like best, make a point of showing it off.

Cover up the features that you don’t like. For example, if you don’t like your tummy, purchase a sexy teddy with garters that will cover it up. If you don’t like your bum, choose a swimsuit that has a built-in skirt.

  • In most cases, the sexier you feel, the sexier you will look. Work on improving your self-image and you’ll automatically look more sexy.
