Prepare the oven by preheating to 325 degrees and lowering the rack to just below the center of the oven.
Wrap the ham tightly in aluminum foil.
Bake the ham for 10 to 12 minutes per pound.
Remove ham from the oven and carefully remove the foil before serving.
