How to Cook a Pre-Cooked Spiral Ham

A spiral sliced ham makes for an easy, hearty and healthy meal. This versatile food option can be part of a simple family dinner or the main attraction at a holiday party. Leftovers can be made into sandwiches, tossed into a salad, fried with eggs or made into a strata. Best of all, spiral hams are precooked making preparation simple.

Step 1

Prepare the oven by preheating to 325 degrees and lowering the rack to just below the center of the oven.

Step 2

Wrap the ham tightly in aluminum foil.

Step 3

Bake the ham for 10 to 12 minutes per pound.

Step 4

Remove ham from the oven and carefully remove the foil before serving.
