Whiskey, rum and brandy are used as a flavoring agent in chewing tobacco. The chewing tobacco absorbs a small amount of the alcohol that can be tasted once the chewing tobacco is placed in your mouth. If desired, brandy or your alcohol of choice can be added directly to Copenhagen pouches. You can add as little or as much alcohol as desired based on your personal tastes.

Remove the lid from the Copenhagen pouch.

Pour one to two capfuls of brandy to the chewing tobacco inside the Copenhagen pouch. Place the lid back on the pouch. Swirl the pouch to mix the alcohol. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes.

Open the Copenhagen pouch. Taste the chewing tobacco. Add more alcohol by the capful as desired until the flavoring is to the desired level.
