Blackheads appear as small black dots on your face. They clog facial pores and often appear on the forehead, chin and nose. They typically occur because of dead skin cells clogging the pores and bacteria. Commercial blackhead facial scrubs often cost a lot of money. You can make your own homemade facial scrub for blackheads to save money and to treat them naturally.

Things You'll Need

Honey and Cinnamon Scrub

Combine 3 tbsp of honey with 1 tbsp of cinnamon powder in a small container.

Mix the ingredients to create a paste.

Steam your face to open up your pores. Turn on the hot water and then place a towel over your face and lean toward the steam coming from the hot water.

Apply the scrub to your face with your fingers using a circular motion.

Leave the scrub on overnight. Remove the scrub in the morning with warm water. Dry your face off with a clean towel, and repeat the process for 2 weeks to eliminate blackheads.

Yogurt Scrub

Mix 4 tbsp of plain yogurt with 1 tsp of salt in a small container. Stir until the salt dissolves into the yogurt.

Add 1 tsp of lemon juice and 1 tbsp of honey to the salt and yogurt.

Stir until the ingredients mix well together.

Open up your pores by pouring hot water into a bowl. Place your face close to the water to allow the steam to open up your pores.

Apply the yogurt scrub to your face in a circular motion. Cover all the blackhead areas, and continue to scrub your face with the circular motion for 10 minutes. Rinse the scrub off with warm water.
